This morning the Robot Scholarship was awarded to Deva Murtí, a student of the Degree in Industrial Electronic and Automatic Engineering at the University of the Balearic Islands. Thanks to his final degree project entitled Short-term prediction model of electricity generation in wind farms, using Machine-Learning techniques, the student has won this Scholarship that pays for the entire Master in Industrial Engineering at the UIB.

This second edition of the Robot Scholarship, convened through the Fundació Universitat-Empresa de les Illes Balears, aims, as explained by Bernat Bonnín, CEO of Robot, SA, to support the students of our islands and try to retain the talent of our youth.

The award ceremony was attended by, in addition to the CEO of Robot, S.A., the Rector of the Universitat de les Illes Balears, Dr. Llorenç Huguet, and the Vice-Rector for Innovation and Institutional Relations, Dr. Jordi Llabrés. In addition, the UIB was attended by the managing director of the Fundación Universitat-Empresa, Mr. Lluís Vegas, the professor of the Electronic Technology Area, Dr. Eugeni Isern, and Dr. Miquel Roca, professor of the Technology Area Electronics, Dr. Vicenç Canals, professor in the Area of Mechanical Engineering and the director of the Master of Industrial Engineering, Dr. Víctor Martínez.
